- Know culinary and service techniques (practical level).
- Know hygiene and safety law (practical level).
- Apply regulations.
- Work well in a team.
- Organise yourself and adapt.
- Welcome people and communicate well.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 64 days)
Apply on the employer's website, with the single mobility or recruitment form. The form is available on the Ministry of the Interior website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours of 38 hours per week.
- Possible evening and weekend work for special events.
- Remote work not possible.
- Good presentation and discretion required.
