Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique des établissements d'enseignement).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Know children's nutritional needs and basic allergy rules.
- Master cooking techniques and the HACCP method.
- Be able to manage stock using computer software.
- Be able to lead and motivate a team.
- Be rigorous about food hygiene and safety.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 3 (Closes in 4 days)
Send your application only by email, to the address given in the offer, before the deadline. Write the job title in the email subject.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
