Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A candidate who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the post is open at the entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP cook or BEP cookery
The profile they look for:
- CAP cook and/or BEP cookery qualification
- Mastery of culinary techniques
- Thorough knowledge of food hygiene rules and the HACCP method
- Report to management when difficulties arise
- Interest in working with children
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
