Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A medical fitness certificate for lifting loads and for catering work is required.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or bac pro cooking, or equivalent diplomas
Experience: Experienced; at least 6 months in the job
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or bac pro cooking, or an equivalent diploma
- At least 6 months of related work experience
- Knowledge of food hygiene in catering
- Knowledge of the food safety plan and mass catering rules
- Good teamwork and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Continuous day or split shifts, mornings, evenings, weekends and occasionally nights
- Remote work is not possible
- Partly works in the cold, PPE must be worn
- A manual handling training (gestes et postures) may be offered; housing may be available on site
