Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in roofing
Experience: Proven work experience, instead of the diploma
The profile they look for:
- CAP, BEP or Bac Pro in roofing, or proven work experience.
- Knows roofing methods, materials and safety rules.
- Comfortable working at height and outdoors.
- Independent, organised and careful.
- Public service mindset and good contact with the public.
- Driving licence B required, CACES aerial platform licence appreciated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 16 days)
Send your cover letter and CV before the deadline, by post or by email to the town hall. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00-12:00 and 13:10-17:15, Friday 8:00-12:00.
- Driving licence B required.
- Work at height and outdoors, in all seasons.
- Remote work is not possible.
