Diploma: State diploma as social worker, specialised educator or early childhood educator
Experience: At least 2 years of experience

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A certificate of good character (attestation d'honorabilité) less than 6 months old is required before starting.
- A driving licence (category B) is required.
- Open grades: assistant socio-éducatif and assistant socio-éducatif de classe exceptionnelle.
- Availability and flexible working hours expected.
