Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. The post is open at the librarian grade. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Training in book professions, DUT or DEUST in book professions, or a master with a book professions component. Territorial librarian or heritage conservation assistant competitive exams are also listed.
The profile they look for:
- Know the issues of public reading and libraries
- Manage project methods and run meetings
- Master office tools and the library management software (SIGB)
- Enjoy animation and have management skills
- Communicate and report on your activity
- Have a sense of public service and of teamwork with volunteers and staff
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Many trips across the 12 libraries.
- Fixed hours, except for service needs or events.
