Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. Candidates recognised as disabled workers can also apply under a contract.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State nursing diploma (IDE) or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- State nursing diploma (IDE) or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of care pathways, elderly care and disability services.
- Strong coordination, communication and networking skills.
- Rigour in clinical assessment and decision-making.
- Professional discretion and respect for medical confidentiality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Two similar posts are open.
- Category A (managerial grade). No management duties.
- Without a reply within 2 months, the application is not retained.
- Open grades: aide-soignant, infirmier de classe normale or supérieure, infirmier en soins généraux.
