Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person without a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grades offered (category C) are entry grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP mechanic at minimum
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of the rules for putting a vehicle into circulation.
- Skill in diagnostic methods and vehicle systems.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Rigour, method and a sense of public service.
- Category B driving licence required, category C appreciated.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply through the employer's website or the official offer page. Send your cover letter and CV to the town's human resources department, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based at the CTM workshop, with travel to the council's different sites.
- No on-call duty (astreinte).
- Must be available for public service tasks (natural disasters, snow).
