Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The job is open to the grades of senior technical assistant (1st class), supervisor and technician. A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate wanted, ideally in a similar job.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of building, roads and green spaces work.
- Good knowledge of public procurement and writing technical documents.
- Budget management and good organisation skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety and public building safety rules.
- Able to work on site.
- Very good people skills and able to lead a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B is essential.
- AIPR and electrical safety certifications are wanted.
- Remote work is not possible.
