Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Bac to bac+2 (e.g. BTS water professions, BTSA, DUT), or experience in a similar job
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Bac to bac+2 level, or experience in a similar job
- Knowledge of sanitation, regulations and soil science is a plus, or willingness to learn it
- Word and Excel skills required, ZW Cad and SPANC software wanted
- Good writing skills
- Rigour, organisation and teamwork
- Driving licence B essential
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
