Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint administratif grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Comfortable with computers and the internet
- Able to plan appointments and own activity
- Able to work with partner organisations
- Good listening, teaching and empathy skills
- Able to do basic technical fixes
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 31 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer on Choisir le Service Public. You can also email your CV and cover letter to the town hall, at the address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
