Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The post is open to the grades of attaché, attaché hors classe and attaché principal.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Master 1 or 2 in public law or local authority law (or equivalent)
The profile they look for:
- Master 1 or 2 in public law or local authority law.
- Strong knowledge of administrative law and civil service law.
- Good writing skills and ability to propose practical solutions.
- Ability to work in a team and across departments.
- Independence, rigour and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
