Civil servants or competition winners of the matching grade (socio-educational assistant or adviser), holding a diploma as a specialised educator or social worker. A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant is suitable.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State diploma of specialised educator (DEES) or social work assistant (DEASS), with a specialised qualification and/or experience in child protection. CAFERUIS is an advantage.
Experience: Specialised qualification and/or significant experience in child protection
The profile they look for:
- Know the legal and institutional framework of child protection
- Assess and analyse educational and social situations
- Master management techniques and project work
- Communicate well orally and in writing
- Be autonomous, curious and open to innovation
- Manage your emotions and step back from difficult situations
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
