Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Senior technical municipal assistant grade, or experienced heavy goods vehicle driver.
- Driving licence categories B and C.
- CACES FCO and FIMO certificates.
- Able to analyse vehicle faults and malfunctions.
- Knowledge of hygiene, cleaning and collection tools.
- Skilled in operating specialised machines.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes today)
Apply on the employer's website, through the official offer. Sending an email to ask questions does not count as an application.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
- Driving licence categories B and C and CACES FCO and FIMO certificates required.
- Meal vouchers worth €10.50 each, after a one-month waiting period.
