Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Experience with cable transport systems recommended
- Serious, punctual and rigorous
- Knowledge of electricity
- Strong sense of public service
- Able to work as part of a team
- Heavy goods vehicle licence would be a plus
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Variable hours, with work on weekends and public holidays.
- Based at the Capucin funicular and the Mont-Dore bowling alley.
- Main work at the funicular from March to November.
- Possible support in roads, ice rink, bowling or summer toboggan.
