Civil servants must hold the grade of adjoint technique principal. Contract agents can also apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Hold driving licences B, C and EC
- Have basic mechanical knowledge
- Show initiative and teamwork
- Follow instructions and safety rules
- Care about protecting biodiversity and plants
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- On-call duty for road safety and winter maintenance.
