Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. The job is also open to people recognised as disabled workers.

- Understand how the on-board tools and equipment work.
- Check fluid levels, lights and tyres.
- Report on your work.
- Work alone and in a team.
- Adapt to the needs of the service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Driving licence B and C required.
- Mobile job with work outdoors.
- Works 39 hours a week with 20 RTT days off, and one service shift one weekend in six.
