Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEPA or Bac pro in forestry work
Experience: At least 5 years in forestry or public works
The profile they look for:
- Training in forestry work or machine operation
- Solid knowledge of forestry and fire protection
- Sense of responsibility and organisation
- Good physical fitness
- Team spirit and respect for safety rules
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, 39-hour weekly cycle with RTT days
- Category B driving licence and CACES A-B1 required
- Interviews planned for weeks 47 and 48
- Position may move to site leader
