Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired, because one of the grades offered is an entry-level category C grade, with no competitive exam needed.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac +2 in construction (recommended)
The profile they look for:
- Solid technical knowledge of construction.
- Knowledge of the rules for public buildings open to the public (ERP).
- Good skills with office software and job-specific software.
- Follows safety standards and procedures.
- Rigorous, organised and responsible.
- Good people skills and tact.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
