Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The post is open at category C grades (adjoint technique), so direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrics, painting and locksmithing.
- Knowledge of ERP fire safety rules and safety procedures.
- Ability to handle emergencies and prevent incidents.
- Good relationship skills with vulnerable people and families.
- Discretion, rigour and a sense of public service.
- Good physical fitness to lift and carry loads.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Housing on site, required for absolute service needs.
- Night duty with obligation to respond in emergencies.
- Irregular hours with on-call duty.
- Remote work not possible.
