Civil servants can apply for the grades of Attaché or Attaché principal. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category A (executive)
Experience: Similar experience in another local authority is wanted.
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of budget rules and financing rules for departments.
- Knowledge of the accounting frameworks M57, M22 and M4.
- Very good computer skills (Excel, Word, Hélios, Chorus Pro).
- Good organisation, speed and initiative.
- Good people skills and team spirit.
- Similar experience in another local authority is wanted.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The job is vacant from 1 January 2027.
- For a contract worker, the hiring is for service needs when no civil servant has applied.
