Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master cooking techniques and meal production for mass catering.
- Know hygiene and safety rules, including the HACCP method.
- Know stock management rules and how to store food safely.
- Organise and lead a team, and handle conflicts.
- Write technical sheets, schedules and reports.
- Work independently, react quickly and handle stress.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 6 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the Apply button on the official offer. Send your CV and cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
