Civil servants and contract staff. Open grades: captain or commander of professional firefighters, lieutenant of professional firefighters, engineer, principal engineer, principal technician (1st or 2nd class).
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in building and/or civil engineering, or equivalent level and field
Experience: Experienced in building maintenance and construction works
The profile they look for:
- Bac+2 to Bac+5 in building or civil engineering, or equivalent
- Additional training in public works contracts
- Experience in building maintenance and construction works
- Electrical authorisations (habilitations électriques)
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible: 1 day per week
- Full time: 37h schedule (5 or 4.5 days) or 39h (5 days), with RTT days off
- Frequent travel across the department with a service vehicle
- Lunch allowance of 4 € per working day
