The profile they look for:
- Have a strong command of legal skills and writing.
- Be able to apply regulations.
- Work well in a team and communicate well.
- Adapt easily and have good interpersonal skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 60 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. Also attach the single mobility form, available on the Interior Ministry website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible.
- Weekend on-call duty, about once per quarter, for arrests of people in an irregular situation.
- NBI (bonus points on pay) of 10 points.
- Post may become vacant from 1 January 2027.
