Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Training in building, civil engineering, public works or planning
The profile they look for:
- Training in building, civil engineering, public works or planning.
- Organised, independent and rigorous.
- Good people skills and ability to work across teams.
- Ability to coordinate different people and report to managers and elected officials.
- Knowledge of local authorities and public tenders is a plus.
- Driving licence (category B) essential.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 29 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the link on the official offer. The text also asks you to send your application in writing to the Mayor, at the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
