Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.

Diploma: CAP, BEP or Bac Pro

- Know HACCP hygiene rules, cleaning and disinfection
- Know the nutritional needs of pupils
- Know food storage and preservation rules
- Have authority and be able to manage a team
- Be rigorous, methodical and autonomous
- Work in a team and report to the general secretary
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
