Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can apply, because an entry Category C grade allows direct hiring.

The profile they look for:
- Master culinary and production techniques for school catering.
- Know the HACCP method and food hygiene rules.
- Know stock management rules.
- Organise and lead a team, and prevent conflicts.
- Write documents and use office software.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
