Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the job is category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to manage a team and organise work.
- Knows how a theatre or performance venue works.
- Knows the health and safety rules.
- Able to read plans and use AutoCAD or ZWCad.
- Rigorous, independent and quick to react.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Handling of stage rigging (flying system) when needed, with a computerised system.
