Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The NBI bonus and the temporary mobility allowance are for titulaires only.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Have strong legal skills, including foreigners' law (CESEDA).
- Have a strong command of office software and the work environment.
- Know how to manage and work as part of a team.
- Know how to organise, negotiate and apply regulations.
- Communicate well and have good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, from the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. The form is on the Ministry of the Interior website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is said to be possible for the phone reception team and online procedures.
- For titulaires: NBI bonus of 20 points and a temporary mobility allowance of up to 8,000 euros over 3 years.
- Working hours follow those of the staff management; must respect the QUALI-ATE standards.
- Category B post with management duties.
