Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The post is open at the grades of technical assistant in teaching establishments. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly at the entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master culinary and cooking techniques
- Know and apply hygiene and safety rules, including the HACCP method
- Know stock management rules and how to store and preserve food
- Organise and lead a team, and prevent and manage conflicts
- Write technical sheets, schedules and reports
- Work independently, be well organised and cope with stress
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, in the job offers section of the Île-de-France Region site. Send your CV and cover letter with the offer reference.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
