The profile they look for:
- Training in HACCP method for catering
- Electrical safety authorisation
- Ability to lead a team
- Ability to work as a team in a production unit
- Availability for meal service hours
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply through the publication link on Choisir le Service Public, or on the employer's website. The recruitment is handled by the Emploi Lycée de Bordeaux service.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work possible
- Service housing by absolute necessity of service, with possible call-outs outside opening hours
- Hours linked to meal services, with possible long days
- Electrical safety authorisation required
