Civil servants and contract staff can apply. For civil servants, article 18 of decree 2023-1122 sets conditions, including at least ten years of seniority in category A.

- Know the laws on how the prison administration works and how sentences are carried out.
- Be able to organise, prioritise and structure work.
- Have a teaching mindset and the ability to motivate others.
- Show rigour, good listening and good dialogue skills.
- Be comfortable with office software and budget tracking.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
