Civil servants (titulaires) in category C can apply. Candidates from other sectors can also apply, on a fixed-term contract. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.

Diploma: CAP or BEP in landscaping, or equivalent; specialist certificate as arborist tree surgeon, or equivalent

- Specialist certificate as arborist tree surgeon, or equivalent
- Category B driving licence required
- CACES certificates for aerial platform and mini excavator required
- Knowledge of arboriculture and pruning techniques
- Good organisation, autonomy and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Category B driving licence and CACES certificates required
- Monday to Friday schedule, 38 hours per week
- Occasional availability for town events or weather emergencies
