Reserved for civil servants and winners of a territorial competitive exam. As an exception, people recognised as disabled workers can apply under a contract.

Experience: Expert level required.
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of the mayor's policing powers.
- Mastery of laws and regulations for municipal police.
- Knowledge of the highway code and traffic offences.
- Communication, conflict management and mediation skills.
- Good use of office software (Word, Excel, email).
- Rigour, organisation, autonomy and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV by post to the Mayor at the Town Hall. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Post open at the grade of senior head of municipal police service, 2nd class.
- Category B (intermediate profession).
