Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the technician, senior technician (2nd class) and senior technician (1st class) grades.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac+3 related to the job, or a higher-education diploma in GIS or cartography.
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Good command of QGIS and the GIS environment.
- Knowledge of the SQL language and PostGIS.
- Ability to structure and analyse geographic data.
- Team spirit, adaptability and responsiveness.
- Good communication skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter only by email to the employer, stating the job title and the offer reference. Recruitment is first by the civil service route.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A driving licence (permit B) is required to travel across the agglomeration area.
- Remote work is not possible.
