Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff (contractuels) can apply. Civil servants must attach the completed and signed interministerial mobility form.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website from the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. You can also email the prefecture's application address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible.
- Driving licence (permis B) required: travel across the department.
- Presence required at the prefecture one day per week.
- Administrative vehicle provided for work travel.
