Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A contract employee can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded. The job is open to disabled workers.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Higher education preferred (architect, engineer or equivalent) in building, civil engineering, planning or project ownership
Experience: 5 to 10 years minimum running construction, renovation or development projects
The profile they look for:
- At least 5 to 10 years of experience running construction, renovation or development projects
- Good knowledge of technical, administrative, regulatory and financial processes for projects
- Ability to manage several projects at once, make decisions and anticipate risks
- Strong writing, analysis and summary skills
- Good people skills, teamwork, consultation and negotiation
- Autonomy, rigour and a sense of responsibility
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 15 days)
Apply on the employer's website. Send your cover letter, CV and latest arrêté to the Human Resources Department, by email to the address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work possible one day per week
- Category B driving licence required, manual gearbox
- Full-time, 38 hours a week; meetings sometimes in the evening or outside usual hours
