- Have experience leading municipal police officers or soldiers
- Use computers well and write professional documents
- Analyse a situation and report on it
- Show self-control, rigour and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer

- Approval from the Prefect and the Public Prosecutor, and swearing-in required
- Uniform and bulletproof vest worn, individual weapon issued
- Driving licence category B required
