Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. An architect profile, preferably specialised or with equivalent experience, is wanted.
Category: Category A+ (senior management)
The profile they look for:
- Strong knowledge of heritage, architecture and planning law
- Strong knowledge of art and architecture history
- Able to argue, negotiate and persuade
- Able to plan and coordinate projects
- Good analysis and summary skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the regional directorate or HR department of the DRAC Grand Est. Do not apply through the Choisir le Service Public platform.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) required, with travel in the department and region
- Protective equipment (EPI) must be worn on sites
- Experience as head of a UDAP is an asset
