Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Technical knowledge of building works across all trades.
- Good grasp of basic preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Knowledge of authorisation (habilitation) procedures.
- Ability to lead a team and resolve conflicts.
- Rigour, autonomy and decision-making skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
