Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, without a competitive exam, at this category C grade.

Diploma: Level IV diploma in catering (bac level)
Experience: At least 5 years in a central kitchen
The profile they look for:
- Level IV diploma in catering
- At least 5 years of experience in a central kitchen
- Good command of hygiene and safety standards (HACCP, PMS)
- Solid cooking skills for mass catering
- Experienced team manager
- Good knowledge of dietetics and nutrition
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
