Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C does not require a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP in cooking required
Experience: Experience in mass catering wanted
The profile they look for:
- Mastery of cooking techniques for mass catering
- Knowledge of mass catering rules (hygiene, PMS, Egalim law)
- Basic knowledge of electrical and heat safety
- Ability to manage stock and purchasing
- Management skills and teaching ability
- Ability to work in a school setting, public service mindset
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
