Territorial civil servants can apply for the grades of adjoint technique des établissements d'enseignement or agent de maîtrise. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can also apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring. Recognised disabled workers can take the job under a contract.

- Good command of cooking techniques and food quality
- Good knowledge of hygiene, safety and the HACCP method
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to plan menus suited to pupils and to costs
- Organised, rigorous and methodical
- Initiative, quick reaction and stress management
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
