Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open to technical assistant grades, and a person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly.

The profile they look for:
- Heavy goods vehicle licence, ideally PL with up-to-date FIMO/FCO.
- Follow safety rules and the traffic code.
- Good physical fitness for manual handling and lifting loads.
- Good team spirit and good relations with residents.
- Available for early shifts and work in all weather.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, from 4:30 am to 1:15 pm.
- Friday work only to make up for a public holiday.
- Remote work is not possible.
