Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a public service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Desired: one year of similar work experience

- Follow hygiene and safety rules, wearing PPE is mandatory
- Understand environmental issues
- Know the local area and the collection rounds
- Public service mindset and teamwork
- Driving licence B and C with FIMO/FCO and valid driver card

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Technical assistant grades (1st and 2nd class) are open
- Category C driving licence and driver card required
- The job may be filled by a contract worker while waiting for a civil servant
