Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired at this entry grade of category C.

Diploma: CAP/BEP in mechanics
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP diploma in mechanics.
- HGV licence (permis PL) and FIMO certificate required.
- Basic knowledge of car mechanics and cold chain rules.
- Organised, methodical, rigorous and versatile.
- Good physical fitness and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

You can apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the Nice city hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
