Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is a entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Hold a valid heavy goods vehicle C licence, FIMO and FCO
- Know the field of waste management and sorting
- Handle heavy loads and cope with physical effort
- Be punctual, rigorous, independent and dynamic
- Be able to work as part of a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 37 hours per week and 12 RTT days per year
- Work on public holidays possible
- Interviews planned between 4 and 8 January 2027
- A super heavy CE licence would be a plus
