Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Valid category C driving licence.
- Up-to-date FIMO/FCO training.
- Good knowledge of road safety rules.
- Strict respect of safety instructions.
- Willingness to work across several tasks.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: Tuesday morning to Saturday noon, adjustable in low season (Monday morning to Friday evening).
