Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can apply, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BEP or CAP in plumbing and heating
The profile they look for:
- Hold a BEP or CAP in plumbing and heating.
- Master the techniques and standard practices of the trade.
- Follow safety rules and correct working postures.
- Be methodical, rigorous and organised.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Full driving licence (permis B) required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 5 (Closes in 7 days)
Apply on the employer’s website, using the “Postuler sur le site employeur” button on the official offer on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full driving licence (permis B) required.
- On-call duty for city fluids systems.
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
